charoset

This is a Passover plate item. The recipes vary from community to community. People have very strong ideas on what it should look like and taste like or it's NOT Charoset! We like this one... (actually, we like them all).

Ingredients:

3T dates
3T raisins
3T pecans
2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and cut in pieces
¼ medium orange, peeled, seeded, and sectioned
¼t cinnamon
1T sweet red Passover wine

Directions:

It takes 15 minutes from start to finish to prepare this traditional Passover Seder item. Put all ingredients, except wine, in a food processor or blender and process until coarsely chopped. Add wine and process until a finer mixture or even a paste is formed.

11AM Shabbat mornings, see you at
