Electrolyte Rich Drink
Ingredients:
2 bananas
1c spinach
1 red or green apple with the skin
1 pear
8-12 ounces of water
Directions:
Peel bananas and break in half before you put in the blender cut the apple and pear in half and quarter halves. The seeds actually have laetril, a great anti-oxidant, so it's optional to core it or leave it in the smoothie.
Metal detoxifying Drink
Ingredients:
1 head CELERY
1 bunch KALE
1 CUCUMBER
1 bunch CILANTRO (OPTIONAL... use LETTUCE, PARSLEY or another LEAFY GREEN VEGETABLE of some
kind, if you prefer)
1 bunch SPINACH
1 BURDOCK ROOT
1 LEMON (UNpeeled if ORGANIC peeled if conventional)
Directions:
1) After washing all of the produce thoroughly ( use a VEGGIE-WASH) run all ingredients through your juicer, or whatever your favorite juicer is (HINT: The juicer YOU actually USE is your favorite!)
2) Immediately pour any remaining juice into GLASS mason jars, sealed shut w/ PLASTIC lids (metal lids rust). Your juice can stay very fresh this way for 2 days, 3 at the absolute most. IDEALLY, you want to drink it RIGHT after it's made. REALISTICALLY, not many people are able to make a fresh juice or smoothie in the morning before work, nor while at work! So do the best YOU can & make JARS o' JUICE!
3) For the juice you want right now, just pour into a glass (and over ice, if desired), and enjoy!
